Bob Clinkingbeard is a motivating teacher and media coach - an Emmy and Peabody award winning journalist with more than 30 years of experience in television and radio as a performer, producer and executive.
Clinkingbeard has been an on the air as an announcer, reporter and newscast anchor. Behind the scenes, he is a seasoned newscast producer and award winning specials producer with CBS, Washington Post Television Stations and FOX. In addition to producing award winning newscasts, he has produced a nationally televised town hall meeting with Presidential candidate Bill Clinton, his work on extraordinary news events and investigations have garnered him both Emmy and prestigious Peabody Awards and his coverage of the Northwest Airlines Flight 255 disaster in Detroit was requested to be archived in the National Museum of Broadcasting.
Highly regarded as a successful and tactical manager in major television newsrooms, Clinkingbeard has a reputation as a visible and diplomatic executive with vision and strategic strengths in coaching, creativity, writing, problem-solving, and communication at all levels. As an executive in Rupert Murdoch’s FOX Television Stations group, Clinkingbeard recruited, hired, trained and coached high performance teams to on-air excellence. He has proven his knowledge, skill and effectiveness by coaching award winning network reporters as well as anchors and reporters in some of America’s largest television markets.
